A Rosh Hashana Seder is a unique Jewish New Year celebration of Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews. Blessings are recited over a variety of foods that symbolize wishes for the New Year. These blessings are recited in a specific order and all start with the phrase “yehi ratzoh,” hebrew for “may it be God’s will.” The blessings ask God for wealth, strength and peace.
